Campaign 2002
This November 5th, please come out and vote for Mayor Patrick W. Parkinson and Township Committeeman Raymond J. O'Grady. Together, these two fine gentlemen have built Middletown into the beautiful and thriving town that it is today. There has been no tax increase for the last two years, the township gov't. has vigorously preserved open space, and the duo has consistently pursued its Quality of Life Program successfully. Also, these two men have started a Middletown World Trade Center Memorial Gardens in memory of the 35 Middletown citizens lost in the tragic events of 9-11. For all their care and hard work in this town, it's important that we show them how much we really appreciate their great efforts. On November 5th, please vote for Mayor Patrick W. Parkinson and Township Committeeman Raymond J. O'Grady.
Middletown Day 2002 was a wonderful event. However, the Democrats running for Township Committee tried to ruin the family atmosphere by campaigning, deceitfully, on Croydon Hall grounds. Laws set up regarding Middletown Day clearly outlaw any political campaigning, which Democrat challenger Irv Beaver was clearly aware of. However, as a former P.I., Beaver believed he was above the law, embarrassing the great Middletown Police we have who are law-abiding citizens. Fortunately, Beaver and Scarano were kicked out before further dampening the bright spirits of Middletown residents out to enjoy food, music, and entertainment; rather than political campaigning by two desperate candidates.
